Damian Krężel leads the inanimate matter patent team, advising clients from start-ups to multinationals on portfolio strategy, drafting and prosecution across a wide range of technologies, while also mentoring junior attorneys. Alongside him, Jakub Sielewiesiuk, founder of AOMB Polska and a European patent attorney with rights of audience before the Unified Patent Court, focuses on building long-term international IP strategies and guiding clients through national and European procedures.

The team’s capabilities are reflected in its work for Optopol Technology, advising on the protection of an invention relating to optical coherence tomography. AOMB conducted prior art analysis, assessed patentability and managed the drafting and prosecution process, ultimately securing grant of the patent, demonstrating its ability to handle technically sophisticated inventions from concept through to protection.
