We did it! We have initiated the procedure for the revocation of a European patent before the Unified Patent Court! The unitary patent is a relatively new creation, as it has been in force since June 2023. We are all the more proud that we have witnessed opposition proceedings before the UPC!

We have only just started, but we hope that we will have the opportunity to learn more about the intricacies of the Unified Patent Court’s operations.

We have not heard of any other such process in our country, so we suspect that our firm is the first in Poland!

We possess comprehensive knowledge of the unitary patent. Patent attorneys who are also attorneys before the Unified Patent Court: Oskar Gińko, Damian Krężel and Jakub Sielewiesiuk have been filing European patent applications with unitary effect for the most part since its introduction. This is cost-effective for Clients, as they receive protection in 17 countries at once!

Of course, Clients choose whether they prefer to file an opt-out request and validate the European patent in individual countries, or remain in the unitary process.
